# Public pricing model

`GET /public/products` exposes these starting prices without authentication. NexaLayer returns the numeric `price`, `currency: "USD"`, and `unit` for every product from authenticated `GET /products` before a purchase. Prices can vary by product, location, stock, and account tier; an agent must read and present the exact current quote before owner approval. The accepted Session response also includes `estimated_charge_usd`.

Starting prices are generated from `public-pricing.json`. Use the authenticated Products API for the binding pre-purchase quote.
